3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Requirements

• Obtain appropriate patient consent for data collection and storage
• Maintain compliance with medical record retention requirements

5. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, software, and code, are the exclusive property of VBRBSA and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Rights

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Services. By submitting content, you grant us a license to store, process, and display that content as necessary to provide the Services.

6. Payment Terms

For paid services:

• Fees are as specified at the time of purchase or subscription
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law

Free trials, if offered, may convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled.

ConsultorioWeb is a tool for healthcare providers. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Healthcare providers are solely responsible for their clinical decisions.

Financial Disclaimer (FinnApp.AI)

FinnApp.AI provides financial tracking and educational tools. It does not provide professional financial, investment, or tax advice. Consult qualified professionals for financial decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through:

1. Informal Resolution: Contact us first to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably
2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to mediation
3. Courts: If mediation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of San José, Costa Rica

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Sending an email notification for significant changes
